About Union Parish Court Docket

Union Parish court records are kept by several public custodians. This private reference resource helps distinguish the district-clerk route from the separate justice court, municipal, state appellate, and federal routes that can appear in a local case search.

Why We Built This Site

Louisiana public-record access does not mean every court record is in one database. The Union Parish Clerk of Court keeps Third Judicial District Court records, but mayor's courts and Justice of the Peace courts maintain their own limited records. The official eClerks services can locate some record types, while a citation or court notice may direct a reader elsewhere. This resource collects those official paths so a reader can begin with the office that owns the record.

What You Will Find Here

The content identifies official search and contact routes, explains the difference between a docket, minute, document image, and certified copy, and outlines how court dates are confirmed. The record pages also explain the special municipal routes for Farmerville, Bernice, Marion, Junction City, and Downsville. Links lead to the government or court source where one is available.

  • District criminal and civil docket routing
  • Third Judicial District Court calendar and setting information
  • Union Parish Clerk contact and records-request context
  • Municipal, Justice of the Peace, appellate, and federal distinctions

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference resource, not an office of the State of Louisiana, Union Parish, a court, or a clerk. It cannot retrieve an official case file, issue a certified copy, change a court date, remove or seal a record, or interpret a person's legal position. The Union Parish Clerk of Court and the court that holds the case control those actions.

Only the legal custodian can confirm a current docket entry or issue an official copy. Contact the clerk, court, or municipal custodian that maintains the record.

Search Partners

Some content pages include a third-party search widget. Its provider operates its own service and may set its own terms or pricing. That widget is not a court database, and the resource does not control its results. Official court and clerk sources remain the place to verify a case, docket, or setting.
